ITV Ventures (continued)
A Pleasant Surprise Was Awaiting Me When I Returned
After the event had completed, I went directly to a nearby hotel and began composing the newsletter issue you are reading right now. The next morning, I continued working on this newsletter up until checkout time (12 noon), then left for home.
When I returned, I found a fairly decent sized FedEx box at my doorstep. It was my ITV Ventures IBO package. People who sign up for the Premier "Independent Business Owner" (IBO) package pay $499 up front (as I did). For that $499, you will receive the following:
Regarding the Product Pack and the fact that they state that it's worth over $600 retail value, my initial reaction, was "yeah right, I'll believe it when I see it". Well, I cracked open the box and could not believe my eyes. The sheer quantity of products was a very pleasant surprise. I removed the contents, placed them on a table, and took this photo:

Here's a breakdown of what was included:
Almighty Cleanse - Formula One (45 Capsules) - 2 Bottles - Retail Value: $99.90 Almighty Cleanse - Formula Two (105 Capsules) - 2 Bottles - Retail Value: $79.90 FlexProtex - (120 Capsules) - 2 Bottles - Retail Value: $99.90 FlexProtex Cream - 1 Jar - Retail Value: $14.95 Rice 'n Shine - Chocolate - 2 Units - Retail Value: $79.90 Rice 'n Shine - Vanilla- 2 Units - Retail Value: $79.90 CoralCal Daily - 30 Sachets - 2 Packs - Retail Value: $49.90 Vitassential Complete - 30 Capsules - 2 Bottles - Retail Value: $49.90 Supreme Greens (240 Capsules) - 2 Bottles - Retail Value: $99.90
Total Retail Value: $654.15
In addition, they included a high quality binder along with various brochures, a DVD, signup applications, etc., as shown below:

So, with an initial cash outlay of $499, IBOs then receive $654.15 worth (retail) of the very products they themselves will sell (and potentially buy for themselves), in addition to the binder, and also add to that what I could only assume would be quite a hefty shipping charge. Couple that with the fact that of that $499 ... $150 goes to the sponsoring IBO. So, ITV Ventures really only has $349 with which to provide all the products and binder listed above, coupled with any incurred shipping costs.
Having been in a similar situation myself as former MLM company owner, it becomes quite obvious to me that ITV's margin must be quite thin, on a per IBO signup basis. They are undoubtedly counting on heavy product sales volume, on products they have already proven to be good sellers.
Oh yes, and one final, very important note regarding the $499 sign up fee. It comes with a 90 day money back guarantee (see section 16 of the Terms and Conditions section, located via the Opportunity page of the ITV Ventures website.
