Professionalism (continued)
I've been to a number of MLM events (seminars, launches, and the like) in the past. As a former MLM company owner, I had even helped to plan, coordinate, and operate all technical aspects of one such event. I've been to those where they get you to whoop and holler at each and every announcement made on stage ... where they try to get you so overcome with emotion you would leave the event wanting to sponsor the entire world, only to incur a severe, lasting letdown only days later.
Well, with ITV Ventures it was considerably different. Sure, there were occasions of standing ovations and the like. But what really stood out was, there was just so much to back it.
What I mean by this is, there was so much quality content over that 3-day span that I was in near disbelief. In other words, the applause was certainly earned (versus coaxed out of us). It seemed that each time a new speaker would make his or her way to the stage, another amazing announcement was made. It continued like this all through the event.
