Not only that, I was later called by yet another Team Leader named Robert (and by the way, yes, these are REAL names of actual Team Leaders I had spoken to) who asked if I had any further questions ... I seized the opportunity to ask him the same question as I had asked Kevin, and sure enough, he said the topic had just been discussed by the company's management team and Kevin's answer was indeed confirmed to be correct.
The "Inevitable" Sales-Pitch and Close
Alright, I had exhausted all of my questions and was ready to wrap up the phone call(s). I gave Kevin a hearty "Thank you for answering all of my questions", which I knew was his trigger point to go in for the kill (to make a sale). Guess what? You probably guessed it ... it NEVER happened!!!
He simply ended the call by telling me that if I had anymore questions to simply call him back. That was it! NO sales pitch ... NO hard-sell, NO used-car salesman closing techniques (my apologies if you are a used-car salesman). I was absolutely dumbfounded.
Oh yes, a special note: In each case, speaking with Kevin and with Robert (on separate occasions), I never once felt a sense of being rushed. They were both calm, polite, and eager to answer any and all of my questions, no matter the number of questions nor the time required to provide suitable answers.
Okay, Okay, I Am Now Thoroughly Convinced!
Well, I had hit them from every angle, tried to find a hole in their armor, but to no avail. They passed every single test with flying colors. It was now time to act. I simply needed to make a decision, yes or no. Well, I imagine that by now you know what decision I made.
