An Average of 8 Hits Per Day Fact or Fiction?
So, am I indeed getting an average of 8 hits to my website per day? Remember, I promised to tell you the absolute truth. The answer is Yes ... and it is also No. For the first couple of weeks I was indeed receiving right around 8 hits per day, on average. But when they began experiencing those growing pains I mentioned earlier, traffic to my website all but came to a complete halt. Then, about a week later, it picked back up to the 8 per day average. Then, for about another week, it went near zero.
Today (February 23, 2006), as I write this, I received 12 hits yesterday and another 7 hits today to my website (average = 9.5/day), so it appears that they are beginning to get things ironed out. Note: I am able to track hits to my website via the members login area.
Now, for the hits themselves. Hits alone do not indicate that someone has joined. All it means is that someone visited (looked at) my website, nothing more. If the visitor then decides to look deeper into the opportunity, they simply enter their name and email address on the main page of the website. Once a visitor does this, it is then counted as an "Opt-in". Once a visitor opts-in, they are then given immediate access to more information via a step-by-step set of web pages.
If you haven't done so yet, I'd urge you to go ahead and try this out. And don't worry, no one will call you. They couldn't even if they wanted to because you have not yet provided your phone number. But if you do provide your phone number, you can certainly expect to be called back. In fact, I'd suggest even going that far (and don't worry, when you've reached stage, it still has yet to cost you a penny, so there's nothing to lose). Go ahead ... enter your phone number, and when they call you, be prepared pepper them with hard-hitting questions. Heck, I'd love to hear your feedback regarding your own personal experience.
